3 Prenatal visits
After the introduction meeting where we get to know each other and define your expectations. These prenatal visits during your pregnancy aim for us to prepare your birth and continuously build the trust between us.
- What are your wishes, visions, fears and needs?
- How can I support you preparing for labor, during birth and after?
- We can discuss a variety of subjects such as labor stages, pain relief method, birth plan through a birth preparation course.
- We can practice comfort techniques, breathing, visualization, rebozo, positions for labor & birth, ...etc
- I can share relevant information and materials for you to read and help you make the decisions that suit you best. I can facilitate communication with the care provider if needed.
Labor & Birth
Once your labor starts, I will come to meet you as we agreed.
I will provide constant support according to your needs and what we discussed during the prenatal visits. The midwife, nurse, or gynecologist will monitor your progress and are medically responsible for the birth of your baby. We will work together to ensure a positive birth experience.
I will stay with you throughout your labour, no matter how long it takes, and a few hours after the baby arrives, to make sure you are settling in just fine.
Postpartum visit
After the birth, I will visit you at home, usually once the kraamzorg has ended.
This is a gentle moment to check in: how are you feeling, how have the first days been? We can talk about your birth experience, answer any questions you might still have, and reflect together on this important transition.
If you wish, this visit can also include elements of my postpartum offerings such as belly binding, moxa, or other nurturing practices to support your recovery.

Payment plans are available and if finances are an issue do not hesitate to discuss possible options with me.
*Travel costs are not included in the prices above and are 25 cent per km, outside of Rotterdam
