Reevaluating Honoring the Natural Timing of Birth (Rethinking induction)
As long as the birthing person and baby are doing well, labor doesn’t have a time limit.Yet in recent years, more and more people are offered induction, even in completely healthy, low-risk pregnancies. While often presented as routine or preventative, this shift raises important questions about how we treat birth as a standardized process, and how little we now explore or understand the natural timing of labor.
